She is an art educator with experience in visual and performing arts over the last 15 years. She led a program called “KidzArt” in Maharashtra for 8 years, an Art Company spread across various locations. After doing her Master’s in Applied Biomolecular Technology in the UK, and years of working with a reputed pharmaceutical company, she decided to take a leap of faith to pursue her creative passion. She credits her background in science for her unique approach to Art, which combines technical precision with creative expression.

The Colourful Elephant is the brainchild of two artists, Amrita Bhatia & Dishita Vora, who have joined forces to create a new company that showcases their combined talents. With years of experience in the industry, Amrita & Dishita bring a unique perspective to their work, blending traditional techniques with modern innovation.
They aim to create Art that tells a story and connects with people on a deeper level.
As co-founders of their new venture, they are excited to see where their creativity takes them and look forward to sharing their vision with the world. They believe art education is essential for personal growth and development and are committed to creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment for their students. With their combined experience and expertise, Amrita & Dishita are dedicated to helping their young and old students become the best artists they can be!
Amrita Bhatia
Amrita’s art journey has been deeply personal, one of exploration and self-discovery, gradually leading her to teach. Her teaching approach is based on the belief that everyone has the potential to be an artist, and she is dedicated to helping her students unlock their creativity and reach their full potential. Her classes cover various topics, from basic drawing and painting techniques to more advanced concepts such as colour theory and composition.
Amrita is also an accomplished artist; her work has been featured in various galleries and exhibitions.
In addition, Amrita is also a certified Holistic Integrated and Creative Arts Therapist, which makes her all the more committed to spreading awareness about the benefits of art therapy for mental health and well-being for both children and adults. She uses her knowledge of various tools and art techniques to help students access their subconscious thoughts and feelings, process difficult emotions, and create Art from their hearts!
Dishita Vora
Dishita is an experienced art teacher passionate about helping students develop their artistic skills. She has been teaching Art for over a decade and has worked with students worldwide. She believes that Art is an essential part of human expression and is committed to making it accessible to everyone. Her journey in Art continues into the various facets of Inner Work, exploring the relationship between oneself and around us through Art.
